SYSTEMS therapy

I believe we are products of our system. Systems include social systems, medical systems, demographics, families, cultural backgrounds, and more. Every aspect of our life has meaning and affects us in some way. I take a holistic approach in my practice by looking at each person’s life as a whole, including their community, family, friends, and anything that affects their health and well-being.

As an integrative therapist, I have a few theories I utilize, and I would be happy to discuss any of them with you:

• Narrative Therapy
• Attachment Therapy
• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Internal Family Systems (IFS)
• Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Tx Theory isn’t just about offering therapy—it’s also about providing a place where people can come as they are and feel unconditionally supported during our sessions. In my practice, I aim to help my clients find their emotional void and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences.

I strive to help clients feel grounded at the beginning and end of every session. Therapy can be work. In many cases, it should be work. It’s not uncommon to need grounding before heading back into your day.

Individual Therapy

My goal is to support you in your journey to the fullest expression of who you are. Individual Therapy can help with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, fatigue, sudden changes, and addiction recovery. It can give you clarity, develop awareness, and make shifts. In my approach, I consider the whole person and the complex influences from which they operate.

Couples & marriage Therapy

Couples therapy can help you build the desired relationship and prepare for life’s challenges together. If you and your partner are feeling disconnected, feeling untrustworthy, or if you’re at an impasse, therapy is an excellent place to start. Maybe you just want to establish a stronger foundation to weather together what life has in store. My approach aims to build greater connection and emotional safety among partners so you can face life as a united front instead of feeling alone in parallel lives.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is usually short-term and may include all family members or just those who are able or willing to participate. Your specific sessions are highly individualized and depend on your family’s specific situation. Families who engage in family therapy gain skills to deepen family connections and get through stressful times well after family therapy sessions have concluded.
